Exceptional Dental Implants
Whether you're missing one tooth or several teeth, dental implants are an excellent option for replacement. Implants are titanium 'posts' which are placed to act as a root for a tooth. A crown or bridge is then placed on the implant and cemented permanently. Implants can also be used to stabilize partials and dentures.
Restoring Your Smile
After your implant is placed and it has healed to your bone (which generally takes 3-6 months), you are ready to have the implant restored. We use our digital scanner to start the process of placing your crown or bridge. An abutment is connected to the implant and the crown or bridge is then cemented on the abutment.
An implant can never get a cavity and maintains the bone in the area of where the original tooth used to be. Special brushing and flossing techniques help keep the implant and gum tissue around it healthy.
